With a degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, is a Development enthusiast, Project Manager with nine (9) years of experience, Author, Blogger, Entrepreneur and the Lead Consultant at SmartHER™ where she is coaching girls and young women to develop skills, realize their full potential, be more productive, work smarter and make smarter decisions.<br />
She has worked on various projects funded by USAID, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, SUN Movement and UNICEF with extensive focus on gender equality, feminism, education, maternal, adolescent and child health and nutrition, working with the Scaling Up Nutrition Network in Nigeria to reduce malnutrition in Nigeria especially in the North-East and North- West. For her outstanding work and service, she has received various awards and recognition at National and state levels. She dreams of a gender inequality and malnutrition free world. When she is not working, she loves to explore new places, meet new people, spend time with family and friends.
Charity Ibeawuchi is a public health policy advisor with post-graduate qualifications in health management, planning, policy and reproductive health. She has broad-ranging experiences in health policy designs and development, with extensive focus on reproductive health and population development. She is a strategic and creative advocate for family planning with several years of impactful innovations for improved reproductive health environment in Nigeria. Charity currently leads the CCP-NURHI 2 advocacy in Nigeria, establishing structures for sustainable policy actions for improved family planning support, programming and governance in the states and local communities as well as at the national advocacy level.
